Alert to the Public - Scam about Outstanding Warrants

Individuals in our community have been receiving calls from a number starting with 559.514.XXXX.  The callers are misrepresenting themselves by stating they are with the Madera County Superior Court.  During these fraudulent calls, individuals are told that there is a warrant out for their arrest, and they are to appear and pay a fine.

Please note that the Madera County Superior Court does not make such calls; therefore, the public is advised to use caution and not provide any personal/financial information if contacted.
