Madera County Superior Court to Discontinue Indoor Masking Requirement, effective March 14, 2022

Due to improved COVID-19 transmission rates in Madera County, the Madera County Superior Court is discontinuing its indoor masking requirement effective Monday, March 14, 2022; however, masking for the public, regardless of vaccination status, is still strongly encouraged.

The Center for Disease Control announced this week that Madera County is no longer at the 'high risk' community level.  Based on this announcement, and in conjunction with the options provided to businesses by the California Department of Public Health, the Court is relaxing the requirement.
