Updated Alert to the Public - Continuing Jury Duty Scam

The Madera County Superior Court continues to receive complaints from concerned citizens about callers misrepresenting themselves as employees of the Madera County Sheriff's  Office who are following up on warrants for their arrest for failing to appear for jury duty.  

We are advising the public that this is a SCAM!  In the most recent incident, potential victims of the scam are provided with a call back number that appears to be from the Sheriff's Office, but when the number is called, it is blocked. 

Please note that neither the Court nor the Sheriff's Office are making such calls - Please use extreme caution by not providing personal/financial information if contacted.
